This time of the year, as we approach Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent many people take special time to contemplate their lives and souls. In such contemplation, we often see that in many ways we often fall short of the holiness of God.
After David was confronted by his sin he went to God in Psalm 51, with sincere repentance. Out of that repentance he understands that God can help him to help others. He states that as the joy of God fills him he will be able to teach others about God’s mercy and love.
God help us to grow in You, so taht we may share your grace and mercy to others.
Psalm 51:12-13 (NIV)
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn back to you.
Blessings on the journey with Jesus
